• Temperament
• Maternal traits - calving ease and milk
• Structure - feet, hind legs and scrotal circumference and udders in cows
• Fertility & Longevity - ability to calve each year
• Growth - 200, 400 and 600day
• Carcass traits - retail beef yield, marbling and fat scores.
