Welcome to Mooroobie Angus

The Ward family have been farming in the Goondiwindi district since 1902. Mooroobie, located 5kms south east of Goondiwindi and adjoining the Macintyre River in QLD, is a mixed irrigated farming and stud cattle business. In 1995, Lindsay and Helen Ward established Mooroobie Angus Stud, driven by their passion for the Angus cow breed in Goondiwindi. Their goal was to breed cattle that produce beef of the highest quality. We take sire selection very seriously and are meticulous in selecting sires for every one of our 200+ registered Angus cows. Progeny produced by Mooroobie Bulls, specifically bred from this distinguished Angus cow breed, consistently exceed the expectations of feedlotters, abattoirs, and most importantly, consumers of high-quality beef.

Our purpose is to produce bulls for you that offer breeding longevity through structural soundness and fertility, as well as high-quality beef, highly sought after by consumers, a hallmark of the Angus cow breed in Goondiwindi.
